                Where I'm From…

I am from a farm moving to the city.

From big open spaces to a small back yard.

I am from a place where I can scooter through a maze ,

to where houses lie end on end and more people come and go.

I am from Paul and Maree.

From conversations at dinner.

I am from “shush” and “If you don’t eat your dinner you have to sleep with the dogs”

from the smell of juicy lemon , oranges and mandarin

I am from christmas day lunches, big feasts and lazy afternoons in the                pool.

I am from birthday parties for big years.

From you have to believe or you won't receive.

I am from delicious kumara salad and beautiful homemade smoothie.

from yummy poached eggs and bacon in the morning

I am from the hot muggy weather, dry like hay, not a drop of rain

from snakes and ladders where I'm always the champion
